Who is Heather Ives?

Heather Ives earned degrees in English and Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. While in school she was able to travel and do various faith-based service projects around the country and the world. Heather served in New Orleans for two summers, living among those with HIV/AIDS. She also found her way to Lesotho in Southern Africa, working in village and mountain ministries teaching English and AIDS education to various tribes. Heather's previous job in America was education and programs coordinator for an international non-profit organization, where she trained teachers to use various techniques in the arts for children and adults with disabilities.

Heather and her husband, Brandon, were married in 2004. They enjoy worshipping and serving in the inner-city of Richmond. Heather and Brandon enjoy the outdoors, canoeing and fishing, good food and time with friends and family. They live in Richmond, Virginia, with their son, Augustine.
